The Tube Turning Station ensures consistently correct orientation of all tubes throughout the automated production process. The tubes are transferred from the upstream handover wheel onto a lug belt, where tube guides align them centrally. An integrated camera system checks the tubes from both sides for correct orientation. Any tube that is incorrectly positioned is automatically rotated 180°. On the downstream lug discharge belt, the tubes are realigned and handed over to the next process step in the correct position.
